Emily and Pat - Engagement Photographs
Meeting up with Pat and Emily, I think we were all a little nervous... I wanted to capture something really special for one of my dearest friends, and they were just in the beginning of this whole wedding journey, excited and anxious for all that will unfold this year. They brought me to the Rockland Town Forest in Rockland, MA, the site of one of their very first dates. Since then, their family has grown to include Harry, a happy go lucky black lab mix. We had a great time in the setting summer sun. I can't wait to celebrate with Em and Pat next June!

Bristol and Hal, Engagement Photographs
I've known Bristol for years as a teacher, but her start in science happened long ago, in college, when she was a horticulture intern at Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain. You can't imagine how happy I was when Bristol and Hal allowed me to take them on a fun walk through this meaningful green space on a beautiful, sunny summer evening. They'll be getting married in December, and you'll never see a better group of teachers throw a party. Congratulations, Bristol and Hal!

M+S - Love on a Mountaintop
Three years ago I drove across the country to Montana, enjoying every mile. This time around, I skipped the drive and hopped on a plane, but still experienced that same level of excitement as I touched down in Kalispell, MT, surrounded by large, snowy peaks. There is something magical about a wedding in that part of the world - and I felt so fortunate to be there to be celebrating with my cousin Marty, his beautiful wife Sandy, and their amazing children. Take a peek:

Welcome Baby Isabelle
Joe and Cheryl welcomed their baby girl Isabelle home three weeks ago, and have been on the move ever since. She has been a very busy baby, keeping her parents laughing as they maneuver their way through the challenges of first-time parenting. I had the privilege to spend some time with the family and see Joe in full daddy mode, changing diapers, burping, and sneaking in lots of snuggle time. Enjoy!

Rachel and Scott - A Quiet Engagement Shoot on Beacon Hill
One of the frequent challenges of taking engagement photographs is finding a location that feels private. However, this time around, Rachel told me, "I have just the place," as she led me through a series of gates and tunnels. We had stepped into a magical courtyard in the heart of the city, complete with goldfish, stone walls, and great doorways.
I was so glad to finally meet with Rachel and Scott! I knew I was in for a treat, since Rachel looks and even sounds like her cousin Sarah, who I had the privilege of photographing two years ago. Together, Rachel and Scott are planning an old fashioned DIY Maine wedding for September. Needless to say, I can't wait! Here are a few images from our fun afternoon together.
